We had to snap this picture today. One of our cats, Cali, just loves to watch the feeder attached to the window over my kitchen sink. This morning there were bunches of goldfinches attempting to eat and she was mesmerized by the activity. As you can see we have had a considerable amount of snow since Monday. Our bird activity has increased tremendously since the storm of March 1. I have not seen the red-winged blackbirds since Tuesday, but I'm sure they are having a rough time. We have had quite a few Tree Sparrows showing up the last few days at our feeders also.
