Is it
Purple Martin
Time?

Every spring we wait for the return of these very social birds. They sit on their houses and watch us watching them. It is said that they each can eat up to 2000 mosqitoes a day. Some people will dispute that claim, but what we do know is that supplying them with suitable housing will increase their chances of survival, and they will be able to return again next year and for many more years to come. If you would like to know when they will be arriving in your area, check the maps below. If you already have them, please let us know by email
Martins@BirdWatchers.com , and we will get you on the map.
