Simply Irresistible

Simply Irresistible

We have a customer, David Dault owner of Focus Mold, who for over a year now has asked us just about every question known to man about hummingbird feeding. We’re not complaining mind you. we’ve enjoyed it as we’ve been on the inside of the development of the world’s most attractive hummingbird feeder, the Hum Sweet Hum.

What make’s it so attractive is it’s 400 brilliant red facets making it simply irresistible to hummingbirds. The raised facets also prevent rain water from entering keeping nectar fresh and flavorful and because the feeding ports are on top of these raised facets, bees can’t reach the nectar. A built-in ant moat prevents ants from overrunning the feeder. It’s large hanging rod not only makes it easy to hang but also allows up to 3 feeders to be hung from the same rod making room for dozens to feed at the same time. In areas where hummingbirds are less tolerant of each other, the 40 plus feeding ports keeps lone hummingbirds on the feeder longer as they move from port to port just as they would move from flower to flower, staying in view longer for more enjoyable viewing.

Easy testing of the Hum Sweet Hum at our store

Early testing of the Hum Sweet Hum at our store

We had the privilege of testing one of the first Hum Sweet Hum feeders last summer. After hanging one just outside our showroom window, it took all of about 10 minutes for a hummingbird to find it. Dault is extremely proud of his first feeder, made in the USA, and already has plans for a seed feeder. If it’s anything like the Hum Sweet Hum, Focus Mold is in for a sweet future.
