Birdola “Rounds” em up

March 29th, 2010

Birdola the originators of the first wild bird seed cake has  rounded up their product line  with their recent introduction of Stackers.  A new and easier way to offer the birds in your backyard just seeds they want to eat. No fillers, and no undesirable seeds,  just the very best seeds your songbirds desire.

We…or I should say, the songbirds in our backyard had the privilege of field

Birdola Stacker

One of our 'field testers'

testing a number Stackers this last winter. Stackers are round and have a hole thru the middle, sort of like a donut which makes them easy to stack on the center post of Birdola’s new feeder.

We hung ours next to another feeder and within minutes we had our first tester, a chickadee. Now normally chickadees grab a seed and fly off to a nearby branch to eat then they return to the feeder repeating  process over and over seemingly expending more energy than they consume . Our chickadee chose a sunflower seed without the shell from a “No Waste”  Stacker and stayed right on the feeder eating till he was full. Within the first hour our Stackers had attracted, cardinals, nuthatches, tuffted titmice, and a downy woodpecker each choosing just the seeds they wanted to eat.

Watch here for the latest news on when Stackers will be available for sale. You can also send us an email  – birdwatcher@birdwatchers.com and you will be one to the first to know when Stackers are available for your songbirds.
